Versa not tracking steps, stairs, sleep

Frustrated with this thing! Sometimes it doesn’t track anything, or the counts are way off. I’ve been walking about the house for an hour and a half and I only see 376 steps. I’ve been up and down the stairs twice but only see 2. I’m frustrated that it’s not very reliable. Is there a workaround besides resetting all the time?

Hi there @KatieL1234, welcome to the Fitbit Community! It got my attention that your Versa is not counting steps or floors. If this is an issues with the firmware of the tracker, you did good to perform a restart on your watch.

Now if the issue continue, I'm wondering if with a longer exercise, meaning a brisk walk for example, is happening the same issue with your steps or floors?

There are many factors that can interrupt the accuracy of your Versa if your steps are indoor. Excluding exercise machines. However for more details and suggestions, please review this help article: How accurate are Fitbit devices?

In your title you mentioned, the sleep is being affected too. I would like to know if your Versa is not showing you sleep stages? Or is not tracking your sleep at all? For some help, please go to this link:

See you later and hope this provides some helpful information.
