Versa not turning on after glitching

I’m so sad. My Versa has just stopped working out of no where. At work earlier today the screen started glitching out randomly and now it won’t come on at all. I’ve tried charging, holding the two buttons and everything. What do I do 😭

Hi @KourtneyH, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for trying some steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes. Such article includes a restart process which can be really helpful for this situation

Looking forward to your reply.

The lights are not working. It is completely unresponsive.

Thank you for getting back with me.

I had something very similar. On Sunday I took my Versa off because I was doing work in the garden and left it on my bedside cabinet. I had charged it the day before and have had the Versa for exactly 1 year (to the day). On Sunday evening I found it was off, completely unresponsive with no lights on the underside.
I tried charging it just in case and tried restarting with the left button + top right button depressed but no response after 30 seconds let alone 10.

Checking my Fitbit account I can see it last synced Sun 26th at 16.49 and it showed the battery as about half full.

So not even being worn at the time and during or after a sync, it has failed completely?

I have since tried pressing all 3 button for a factory reset and there is no response.

Garmin have reportedly in the last few days had some of their devices hacked and stopped working for a few days - has something similar occurred here and Fitbit are hiding the event?

Was it a poor update of software?

what’s the solution?
