Versa not turning on after restart

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa stopped syncing with both my iPhone and iPad a few days ago. After trying various troubleshooting tips, I tried to restart by pushing both back and bottom buttons. When that didn’t work the help site said to go to settings and shut down my Versa which I did successfully. However it says to turn it back on push the start button and nothing happens. I no longer have any power ( have tried charging - does nothing). Now my Versa is useless! Help!

Hi @Sgoddard83, welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for the details that were shared in your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here. To better assist you with this, can you please let me know if the heart rate sensors are flashing or is your device completely unresponsive? If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check our help article: Why isn't my battery charging on my Fitbit device? and let me know how it goes.

Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I was finally able to turn it back on after messing with a combination of the back and bottom buttons but now my time is off by about 1 1/2 hours and I am still unable to sync it to either my iPhone or iPad. Neither device recognizes that it exists! Never had trouble with these 2 devices before - wondering if it has to do with updates to the operating system. It tracks my steps, stairs, heart rate, and calories but no sleep, notifications, messages, calls, etc.

Your reply is appreciated @Sgoddard83.

I'm happy to know that your device turned on after trying some troubleshooting steps, thanks for your effort and patience. Fitbit devices use your mobile device information to display the time with the syncing process, therefore, by simply syncing your Versa it should display the correct time.

That said, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Then, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.

Keep me posted.
