Versa not updating Sleep or Exercise on Today's screen.

My sleep and number of days of exercise on the Versa never updates. The sleep always shows 5 hours 16 minutes and the number of days of exercise always is 0 of 5.

When I synch to the app via bluetooth it does capture the metrics and update the app but the Versa screen never updates.

The steps, steps this hour and bpm are fine.  I just received this watch so wondering if I should return it or is this a setup issue.

Hello @warnerbrothers, have a warm welcome to the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate your participation in the Forums and for sharing your experience with us. At this moment, I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Then, check if the Today screen updates your sleep and the exercise. If not, sync your Versa with your phone and check again.

I hope this can be helpful, if there's anything else we can do for you, please feel free to reply.

I’m having the same problem. I have a new Versa (Christmas gift) and the watch always shows 0 days exercised for the week. (The app shows the correct umber of days.) The watch is also showing 0 calories consumed even though the app shows greater than zero. I tried following the advice to reset the watch (left button and bottom right) but no change. Also tried a re-sync: no change.

Forgot to add: if I update my weight on the watch it does not ‘take’: the watch will not show the new value and neither will the app.

I am having the same issue - Sleep Insights on the phone seem to be updating OK, but Sleep statistics on the Today screen on the Versa tracker do not display consistently and are quite erratic. Obviously the Fitbit app on the phone is getting the data from the Versa tracker, so this behavior is quite puzzling.

I've synced the tracker to the app, restarted the tracker, shut it down, removed the tracker from the app, unpaired the tracker from Bluetooth and then gone in reverse order to start the device, pair it to Bluetooth, added it to the app, synced it up again - all to no avail.

Is there a definitive way to fix this problem?

I never received any suggestions. I returned the watch for a refund.
I liked the features but too many seemed unreliable (working one day but not the next) and the GPS when connected to my iPhone was way off in terms of distance and route.
I hope you have better luck than I did.

I am having the same problem. Reset it 5 times, still not updating. It started after I downloaded a new clock face. Could the clock face be causing the issue?

I was having the same issue. If you’ve already tried the reset noted by the moderator above and it didn’t work (like me) - try again, but first go to your Today screen on the watch and unselect Sleep and Exercise - then do the reset. This worked for me. Hope this helps.
