Versa not working after factory reset

My Versa started to not sync, then was not keeping the correct time. I tried resetting it using the two button way. No help. After 3 days of trying, I did a factory reset. Now versa will not turn back on. I also tried to hold down all the buttons for over 3 minutes several times. No luck.

Also I strongly suggest keeping your emails from Fitbit support as evidence that you did go through with their recommended fixes to no avail.

my versa stop syn with my phone, i did factory setting since then it is only showing fitbit logo and not moving forward. I did every thing mentioned on support community but still the same result. it is great fitness watch but frustrating to see this types of error...

Hi, I have the same issue as in this thread with my Versa that it won't start back up when I have reseted it to factory settings. 

 

I wanted to reset my Versa as it was measuring my pulse all wrong, saying I had a puls of 109 when I sat down for 30 min without any movement. 

As it now will not turn on, I don't know what to do, could I please get some assistance?

It got fixed, customer representative guided me to register the versa again ( after factory reset it was also deleted from my Fitbit account). So I register and completed watch set again with my app, Now it working and Syn with my phone.
It is important to know if you do factory reset make sure to register you Fitbit watch again into your Fitbit account.

Do not have 3 buttons. I have the lite. I assume I do the same thing just with the one button?

I have a black screen. I have tried to make a factory reset, however it is not working, it is black screen all over again. What to do?

I just did a factory reset on my Versa because it quit syncing with my phone and now it will not turn back on. I have held down all 3 buttons numerous times and nothing but a black screen. Please help!

Do you see the Fitbit logo? If yes the you have to log into your Fitbit account and re-register you Versa again.
If nothing is showing then better to chat online with Fitbit personal.

sorry to tell you this, you're screwed. the good news Sam"s has Garmin fenix 5plus on sale for $399. My wife bought me one for fathers day. I love it . so much better than a fitbit.

Yea I did a chat with them yesterday and they had absolutely no reason or excuse of why it won’t turn back on. Just said it went out of warranty in December so nothing they can do. I asked them, so basically doing a factory reset will kill your device? They only answered with a 25% to buy a new one.

Versa still only has black screen after factory reset.  I feel so stupid that I did not read this thread before performing a factory reset because it looks like this is just a way to try to get us to buy a new one for 25% off!

My Versa died after a factory reset. Doing the steps of what I’ve seen in the discussion it still is not responding. Completely dead

The same thing is happening to my Versa. How can I submit a case for mine? Any help would be appreciated. I did a factory reset and the screen is black and won't turn on. I've tried putting it in the charger as well as holding the side buttons down several times.

Hello, no one ended up contacting me so I left it on charge for 24 hours
and it then turned on... I am yet to try to reconnect it.. I’ll try and do
it this afternoon and she how it goes.
Maybe try it on change for 24 hours and if no luck definitely try to find
the email address to make a complaint 🙂
