I am interested if anyone else has problems with the swimproofness of the Versa. Let me share my story.
In July 2019 I obtained a Versa as warranty replacement for a broken Charge 2 (problem with the screen brightness). After three months my Versa died on me during the night. I got a replacement offer, so I ordered another Versa.
However, three months later my second Versa again died on me during the night. Of course this is warranty, so as we speak I am waiting for a new one, but still I am worried.
Both times my Versa died in the night after a swimming training. Swimming is my sport, so I want to wear the Versa in the water. This is why I upgraded from Charge 1 to Charge 2 in the first place.
I took all the advised precautions: after swimming I take the Versa off and clean and dry it.
So in the time between december 2018 and now I went through 4 Fitbits (now waiting for my third Versa). This doesn’t seem normal. Thoughts anyone?

It's great to see you in the Fitbit Community @arretje.
I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you experienced with your Fitbit Versa and Fitbit Charge 2. Thank you for your feedback and for sharing your story.
This is definitely not an expected behavior. The Fitbit Versa is swimproof in a lake, pool, or ocean (up to 50 meters). You shouldn't face this situation with your new replacement.

Happened to me too! Scouring these threads, it appears it happens to quite a few people. I got the same response your received her “this shouldn’t happen”, yet they won’t replace my Fitbit. You can see the water and condensation in the face of the watch.
However, because mine is outside of warranty they won’t replaced it. Granted it wouldn’t be broken if it did what Fitbit said it would do. I’ve been using Fitbit for years, and I’m extremely surprised at how poorly they’re handling these issues. Especially since these aren’t just one offs.
