Versa not working with Huawei P30 Pro

I recently got a Huawei P30 Pro. I was able to sync my Versa but I stopped being able to receive notifications on my watch despite fixing permissions and all day sync. Data was not syncing. I have now unpaired my Versa from my Huawei P30 Pro and it will not longer pair again - Phone isn't even picking up the Versa's Bluetooth. Any idea how to fix this? Really annoyed that they are not compatible, feels like I've just wasted money.

Can anyone confirm if the versa 2 is fully compatible with the P30 yet?

I got 1 for Christmas and it does not stay synced.

Yes it is. I’ve had my P30 pro and Fitbit for about 4 months with no,issues. Watch the following video - it worked for me and has also helped others.

I think it is ridiculous that p30 pro are not compatible but yet others our. I have wasted money on an inspire and a versa for the inspire to work for 4 montjs and the versa to work for 24 hours. My experience is similar to the lady above who gets steps and sync etc but not notifications. Nowhere when i was buying did it say my phone wasnt compatible. Not happy at all.

I sorted this with a video on You Tube, and everything works fine now.
I’ve had my Versa for about 6 months now and everything is working fine with my Huawei P30pro phone.

I have the huawei Pro also I can receive notifications from amazon but not WhatsApp, messages, fb etc... Strange

I can get all notifications on my Versa. I think you just need to set up notifications for other Apps from within the Fitbit App.

Ive done everything suggested and notifications are intermittent at best.
When this thing dies I'll be getting a real fitness tracker/smartwatch

Samsung, garmin etc.

This thing is a joke and so is the tech support.

I ended up returning my fitbit and get another brand watch. They send it
in and it was not working properly. The screen didnt react and i couldnt
turn the alarm off because the screen didnt react. Decided not to take
another fitbit after that. Was not even 6months old and gave issues.

Glad i got another brand.

That's my next step , if Fitbit Versa2 cannot fix my notification sync problem, I will switch to huawei smartphone.  I got the watch for 30 days, never worked more than half a day. Very disappointing with the number one rating smartwatch... Hope management see this and act quickly before your customers leaving you.

I just spent an hour on chat trying to get this fixed...why did the rep I was speaking with not know this? Waste of an hours time trying to reslove the issue when it isnt even possible

You are an absolute star. Just did as video said. Notifications showing just now and I pray it lasts.

Been considering moving to apple devices but battery power is a turn off. Is grateful to you. I'm on a huawei y9 prime and versa 3..withnthis video maybe I can. Now upgrade to huawei p30 pro.
