Versa notifications have stopped - iPhone

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Set up my new Versa yesterday. iPhone 8 all updates installed

Notifications were working fine. Today I received some FaceTime calls I rejected from my Fitbit and since then I am getting ZERO (phone) app notifications. (Calls, sms,WhatsApp,IG,email and FaceTime)

I have so far checked and reset :

*Versa notifications - ON

*FitBit InApp notifications - ON

*Fitbit settings notifications - ON (persistent)

Other forum suggestions - No resolution

I have also tried turning them all off and on again re-syncing / wifi on off / Bluetooth on off etc.....

Help 🤷🏻‍:female_sign:

@RnbAsa Welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not getting notifications. By the way, thank you for trying the recommended troubleshooting steps before contacting our forums.

You mentioned that your iPhone 8 has all the updates installed. Does this include the most recent Fitbit app version? If not, please make sure that the Fitbit app version is up to date.

Once the app is up to date, please restart your Versa as described in this help article. This will refresh your tracker internally. Finally, monitor the notifications feature and see if your Versa receives them.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

I am experiencing this exact same problem with my Versa, however, I'm on Android OS using a Samsung Galaxy S10+. The app and phone are up to date.  I've disconnected and re-connected wi-fi, bluetooth as well as the entire Versa tracker.  No luck. Notifications were working perfectly and have now vanished.

Mine stopped today as well.  I held the back button for several seconds until a screen appeared and that is where I found notifications were turned off.

Just checked, that was indeed the case.  Thanks for the help!

So all my notifications started coming through again last night but I’m suspecting it’s because I have kept the Fitbit app open on my phone.

Can you confirm for me that the phone app has to be open for the notifications to be pushed to the Fitbit device ?

Thanks

I have not tested that theory. Let us know if you find out.
