Versa notifications not working with Galaxy s10

I have read a bunch of responses about the Versa not being compatible yet with the S10....seems weird to me but hey what do I know. Anyways I can get the Versa to sync but my notifications will only come to the watch for about an hour or so after restarting and re-syncing then they stop again. I always check the settings after a restart/re-sync to be sure notifications are on and unchanged. Anyone else with the issue found a fix?

I am glad to assist you with your concern about receiving notifications from your Galaxy S10 on your Fitbit Versa. I am glad to hear you're able to sync your watch and appreciate your efforts to resolve the issue. While your phone is not a supported device for the Fitbit app at this moment, it doesn't mean that it won't work with the app entirely, however some of the functions might work intermittently. 

 

Usually a missing requirement is the cause and I recommend confirming the steps to set up notifications in this help article: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? Move on to the troubleshooting steps if the issue persists.

Same issue here , but sometimes it works for days ,and suddenly Versa decides not to receive notifications anymore,re-pair,reset Bluetooth ,every 2 3 days

 

I also had the same issue with One Plus 5 before, have been struggling with Versa for over 10 months ,there is nothing I haven’t tried, not once I felt it’s reliable to get my calls or other notification ,it syncs all the movements and heartbeat data perfectly though.

 

so my advice , keep it only if you are heavily using it as sport and activity tracker , otherwise ,return it or try to find another product.

Anyone have an update as to why I may not be getting text messages on my Versa? Was working a couple of days ago and now absolutely nothing.

I noticed that when I did a system update to my Galaxy s10+ that I stopped getting several notifications. How do we go about reporting a possible issue with the recent update?

I have an S10e and I can get all my app notifications except phone calls and text msgs notifications.  I'm ready to go back to my garmin.  I'm HATING this Fitbit!!!

I'm extremely irritated as well.  These are to expensive to not work correctly.

Well I did get a phone call notification right after my post, but still no text messages.

I'm able to receive notifications of phone calls and other apps, but not text messages. I have the galazy s10e and the versa 2 fitbit. When I first got my fitbit I was able to receive my text messages, but that only lasted a couple of days. Not sure how to fix!! I love my fitbit, just need to figure this out......

I was talking to a friend and apparently this a problem for everyone that they will not fix.  We wasted our money....big time!!

It seems ridiculous that newer phones are not supported by the Versa. I updated to a Samsung 10 and have never been able to get text/phone notifications to work, it took a mighty effort to even get it to sync for the fitness aspect.

Is the Versa 2 any better or does it also not have its full functionality available with a Samsung 10 phone? I'm quite cynical and believe that they want us to purchase this product, if it works!

Nope. I have a versa 2 and an s10 and can get all notifications except text. Several people saying the same thing with all the different s10's.

I as well stopped getting my text notifications a few days ago. Did a reset on my fitbit and still not working. I get all other notifications just not text.

I think something needs to be done; either fix it or give us our money back.  I'm going to get a hold of them on Monday.  We should all show a united front.  If they get integrated with phone calls, maybe they'll do something.
