Versa notifies of voicemail, but NO missed call/voicemail on iPhone

I just received my Fitbit and I haven't even had it on my wrist for 24 hours yet. I noticed on my Versa that I had two voicemails, which I thought was really odd because I didn't have any missed calls or voicemails on my phone and my phone never rang. Sure enough this apparently is a reoccurring issue that Fitbit was going to fix in June and never did. Help -  I really don't want to return this and get something else, but I kind of need to get my phone calls.

Hi, this indeed strange. I would advice you to do the following: go to notifications, disable calls and restart your Versa by pressing the left en right lower button untillthe Fitbit logo appears and the watch turn off. Wait a few minutes and after that, switch on your Versa and enable calls. See if this solves the problem. Good luck!

The following fix did not work for me.  I had to return my Versa.  Very sad. But I need to receive my messages.

This has been happening to me as well. Says I have voicemail from a friend of mine so I called to ask her when she had tried to reach me and she said she hadn’t left a voicemail or called at all. 
I just saw a notification that I have a voicemail from a number I don’t recognize and I don’t have any new voicemails or missed calls in my phone. I don’t know if I really missed a call or not and it’s not okay with me at all.
