Versa on windows lumia 640 not showing on watch

hi i just got the watch and have set the notifications for call, text etc to on. In the account setting under the versa, but they are not showing on the watch. It says on that it is all caught up and i have tested it twice. Am i doing something wrong? When i first turned on notification there was something in red about the background... something. please help...

Your phone is not on the Approved Devices list so may work for some functions and not others.
