Versa only sometimes displays full messages

I've set up my Versa to show text messages, whatsapp messages and gmail notifications.  Sometimes the message displays in full, and sometimes it does not (in which case I need to go to my phone to view the full message).  There doesn't seem to be any correlation with the length of the message (i.e. sometimes even short messages don't display in full while really long messages do). 

 

I've done all the troubleshooting that I could find in other posts, such as setting "Preview message" to on, ensuring I'm using default apps, setting the notifications to "Urgent", etc.  Is anyone else having this issue? How do I resolve this or is this a known glitch?

@Yashaan1619 can you brief me in on your phone model and OS as well as Versa firmware version and Fitbit mobile app version? Also could you verify that Versa displays only part of the notification visible in the phone's notification bar? I'm asking because Versa will display only what it can see in the Notification Centre.
