Versa only tracks 3 to 4 hours of sleep.

My versa says I only sleep 3 to 4 hours a night.  What happens is that I get up to use the bathroom and then go back to sleep but it does not track after.

Hello @Nanjack42, thanks for joining the Fitbit Community, it's great to have you on board. Smiley Happy

I appreciate you have brought this to my attention. Please note that the Fitbit Versa as well as our other devices base the sleep tracking on auto-detection, which is based on your movement. When you haven’t moved for about an hour, your device assumes that you’re asleep. Additional data—such as the length of time your movements are indicative of sleep behavior (such as rolling over, etc.)—help confirm that you’re asleep.

Morning movement tells your tracker that you’re awake, which explains why your watch stops recording sleep once you wake up to go to the bathroom. When you go back to bed, your Versa will go through the same process of auto-detection and it's possible it will not start tracking your sleep again if it doesn't detect you haven't moved for about an hour.

In this particular case, I would like to suggest you to restart your Versa by pressing and holding the Back and Select buttons (left and bottom right) until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen. Then, use your Versa on your non-dominant hand and monitor your sleep for the next few nights to check if the tracking improves.

I hope this can be helpful and resolves your inquiries, if there's anything else I can do for you, please feel free to reply.
