Have a Versa that i brought my wife for Christmas and yesterday it started doing something very odd, it only works when in the charging cradle (although it shows 100% charge when it is, the same issue as this lady has.
Is the unit broken or is there something i can do

@IrvingFamily welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your wife's Fitbit Versa since it only turns on when plugged in the charger.
I'd like you to try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Sorry I've not replied, we've muddled on by putting it on the charger and then quickly restarting it, this happens 2-3 times per week, there is always plenty of charge on it (anywhere between 50-100%), the watch and the phone its paired to have had several updates since the problem started but this has always been a constant and always a problem.
We now are at a point where it will only function in the cradle. Any ideas.......

@IrvingFamily It's been almost six months since you posted about this issue. You should call Customer Support at this point. It sounds like a defective unit if it will only work in the cradle (which is useless because you should be wearing it).

Called Customer support and it was a hardware issue, they offered us a replacement on the versa or 50% off on a Versa 2, so my wife went for the Versa 2.
