Versa overheated and died

Has anyone else experienced this? I got shocked and my versa got super hot so I took it off and shut it down. The green heart rate light stayed on steady and after 2 minutes finally shut off. When I put it on the charger it was 0% charged, when it had just been 80%. I'm glad this happened while I was awake and not asleep- it could have resulted in a bad burn...it was definitely hot to the touch.  When it finally charged it worked for less than an hour and died again.

Thankfully, the customer service person I chatted with is honoring the warranty and I'm sending it back tomorrow for a replacement. First time in years since buying the original that I've had to use customer service and I need to give them a shout out for their prompt attention to this, and willingness to honor the warranty.
