Hi @egruss  try restarting your device. Which phone and operating system are you using? It helps us to know more about what is going on. Let us know.

Sounds like it's the phone making the problem. You're able to sync and it's counting your steps?

I have the same for the Brightness, Always On Display, Do Not Disturb and Screen Wake. I'm sporting a Versa 2 and syncing with a Pixel 2 - and things seem to be syncing beautifully.

Ahem. I think I know the answer. I took my watch out of sleep mode and, voila, I got all those settings options again.

I have the same problem, I’ve turned my Fitbit off, turned it back on, still the same. I also had to delete Fitbit from my phone and reinstall it. My Fitbit is still grey on those areas.

@martinwillms Yup, that’s the solution. But it means you can’t use Sleep function without affecting the other functions? Seems like a bug to me.

Best Answer

Well, actually you can set the other function options before you enable Sleep mode, and then set up sleep mode. Still seems awkward.

That fixed mine. Moto G6, android version 9. I just tapped the Sleep Mode to off and all the other settings are bright again. Strange. It worked for a couple of months fine until it "switched" the settings on its own. I also deleted the device and app, then reinstalled both today but it did not clear the problem. I was about to reset Versa 2 back to factory settings and start all over again. Whew. Thank you.

How do you take it out of sleep mode? That’s greyed out for me too.

Mine are grayed out as well- seemed to do it on its own...

Same. Brightness, Always-On Display, Sleep Mode, Do Not Disturb, Screen Wake are all grey and can't be turned on. I've tried everything short of a factory reset. I had other issues that I was able to resolve (many, but not all) by restarting or turning off the fitbit and then back on, or deleting and redownloading the app on my phone (and various other tricks I saw on the forum). But those functions are still not working. This is my second tracker as the screen stopped working on the last one, so they sent me a new one.
