Versa "data not cleared sync & try again error"

Hi my phone has not been syncing for weeks so I tried to do factory reset now my phone has the error data not cleared sync & try again. Can some one advise how to get past this as I cant use the watch at all now

Go into your phones Bluetooth settings and unpair the Versa. 

 

Then go on to the fitbit app on your phone - account (card in the top right corner of the app) - select "set up a device" - select Versa - select "replace your Versa", and follow the steps.
