I've been using my Versa for about 1.5 years. Last night it just randomly went off while I was wearing it. I have read everything on how to restart it and nothing has worked. It's seems to be dead. The battery was at around 80% when it just went dark.
I have used the charger, done the reset, deleted the app, reinstalled, attempted to re-pair, pretty much everything that has been suggested. There's been no reaction or response.
I see there's a firmware update. Might that have something to do with it? Again, I can't do the update because it won't go on. Not sure what's left to do as I can't seem to just email anyone directly about this so to the forums I go.
My mobile syncing device is a LG V30+.

I am having tje same issue. Mine happen this morning. Did all the necessary things they say to do and now I can even add the device back to my Samsung galaxy note 8 because I can not see the numbers to put in on my phone to connect through wifi. This sucks. I have not had this a year yet.

I am having the same problem. My battery was low yesterday and I thought it was just that it needed to be charged, but mine is not re-charging, and I've tried the problem-solving suggested on the website already.
I've only had my watch since Christmas 2019.

Purchased my versa in Nov 2018 and it stopped working 7-8 months later. After almost an hour of interrogation on phone they finally sent a new one and now 8 months later IT stopped working again 4 days ago. I love my fitbit but I'll be dammed if I'm gonna spend another penny on a fitbit product with 8 month or so life expectancy!!

I have the same issue. Mine died overnight. Been using my Versa for about 19 months. In the last week or so, I've had some issues. My sleep data was off by several hours, then the battery was draining in less than a day. Yesterday I had "basic" sleep data because by heart rate monitor was allegedly blocked (while wearing it exactly where its always been) ... woke up at 2am and found that it was dead.
Nothing brings it back to life. I had it on the charger for several hours, and was able to sync using the app and see that the battery had charged, but nothing on the watch screen and the app's stats screen says No Device Found. Now I'm no longer able to sync.

Mine will load the Fitbit logo like it's about to turn on, and then it'll go dark again and nothing will happen. My app says that I'm at 98% charged. Hopefully this isn't Fitbit's attempt at phasing out the older models.

Something smells awfully fishy that everyone is experiencing the exact same problem this week! Someone mentioned something in a post about an upgrade and i just wonder if maybe that had something to do with this?

I've been facing the same issue, battery was low and it died, kept it on recharge. The display never came up afterwards. Initially, thought that the charger was at fault, but charger seems to wok fine and I can see the device syncing in my android fitbit app, but there's no display coming up on my phone!!! Please help me fixing this issue....

This also happened to me, hold down all 3 buttons on the side. For some reason that worked, but mine wasn't charging or even turning on till I did that.

I've tried resetting with the back and bottom right button, as well as all 3 buttons. I can see a slight change in the brightness of the screen, but nothing ever displays. The watch vibrates when I get a phone call, but those are the only signs of life I've had. Is anyone moderating this site, since there seems to be absolutely no customer service at all right now?

I tried that one. Held it for 3 minutes. Nothing. Really seems that it just straight up died.

Yes there's a firmware update. I was going to do it but... well... it decided it wanted no part of that.

Unfortunately I tried that as well as all other combinations, still dead as can be. Thanks for trying tho!

same thing on my fit bit. Except mine will turn back on, but it will not stay charged. I took it off at 0630 this morning, and then it was dead by 1030. Then took it off around 1430, and it was dead by 1930.. I dont know what to do.

Okay. I disconnected the device from the app. Deleted the app. Restarted the phone. Reinstall the app. Attempted to pair and...I saw a 0%!
So maybe the internal battery just straight up died. It won't take a charge.
And I did everything that was recommended on that issue. Looks like I'm in an "ex-parrot" type of situation

I can't believe that all of our batteries would die at the same time, though. There are too many of us who are having issues at the same time.

Yep....something very strange going on! Like fitbit is doing something so we have to buy new watches!
