I've been using my Versa for about 1.5 years. Last night it just randomly went off while I was wearing it. I have read everything on how to restart it and nothing has worked. It's seems to be dead. The battery was at around 80% when it just went dark.
I have used the charger, done the reset, deleted the app, reinstalled, attempted to re-pair, pretty much everything that has been suggested. There's been no reaction or response.
I see there's a firmware update. Might that have something to do with it? Again, I can't do the update because it won't go on. Not sure what's left to do as I can't seem to just email anyone directly about this so to the forums I go.
My mobile syncing device is a LG V30+.

Mine died a couple hours ago its not even a year old. Funny its the day people are starting to get their stimulus checks

I seem to be having the same issue, my Fitbit suddenly died. I have tried several suggestions for resolving the issue. Nothing has worked to reslove the issue.

Tried one more thing. I put the Versa in the charger. While in the charger I pushed in both sides to "push" all 3 bottoms. There the good ole 0% flashed on. But no charge.
So i think it's obvious what happened here. The battery simply died and won't take a charge. So until someone from customer support responds, I guess we're all stuck. Real bad timing.
And I had just started running outside too! Was strictly a treadmill runner until, well, a tragic world event happened.

It seems I'm out of warranty and the watch isn't repairable as fitbit only provides replacement in warranty. They told me the only option that I have is to buy a new one from their product catalogue! If that's the case, I would never go for a fitbit again in my life as I didn't buy it to use for 1.5yrs (lifespan is low as per me, it should've lasted longer) throw it away just to buy a new one again.!

I’ve got the same problem, my battery was on around 40% last night and it was working when I woke up in the night but now this morning absolutely nothing! I’ve tried charging and resetting etc and now the screen is just black and nothing is happening. Seems coincidental that quite a few of us have had the same issue overnight

So I just decided to put it on charge again to see what happens and the Fitbit logo appears and it comes on like normal and all full charged like there was no issue!

Just tried it again because of your post and it lights up for about 2 seconds and then nothing. No charge holds.
So since we're not going to get an answer anytime soon, anyone has suggestions for an inexpensive replacement? It doesn't need to be a watch. I never used the nonfitness stuff on it anyway.

the same things all happed to me, the touch sreen stopped working one day so i left it on the charger for a few days and then it worked for a day or so and since the it has just been all black

Mine was totally dead, and nothing was happening when I tried all the fixes, but I tried charging again this morning, and (woo-hoo!) it's charging. I'm up to 30%, and it just synced with the app, too. I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
