Been on holidays for 4 days. Took two flights to get here and it’s much warmer than home. Since being away versa reads abnormally high heart rates even when at rest (my resting HR is around 60 but versa is reading over 100 - confirm by actually taking my pulse). Also my active minutes are abnormally high (over 200 minutes by the time I get out of bed in the morning). Sleep tracking is also very basic. Anyone know what might be happening? Obviously if it’s goes back to normal when I get home in a few days then it will just be a travel glitch. It’s really annoying though.

Hi @SunsetRunner That sounds weird! Try restarting your Versa several times and see if that gets the HR accurate again.

Thanks Nelly. A restart didn’t work but I shut it down and restarted and HR is now reading back to normal thankfully. My yoga class this morning apparently burnt over 400 calories due to the device reading a heart rate of over 150 😂 hopefully it works fine now. Thanks again!

Actually @NellyG it didn’t work. Itvread a more accurate heart rate for a few minutes and then went back to abnormally high reading. I **ahem** down and restarted but it’s still reading really high (120 bpm when I’m sitting still). I will try a factory reset once we get home from holidays andbif that still doesn’t work will contact customer service as I think it’s still in warranty.

I am having the same issue, and have been in contact with three different people on chat support over the last two weeks. They have told me it is a "bug" and that it is "being worked on." I asked for an ETA on when this issue will be fixed and I wasn't given even a vague timeline. It is so frustrating. I also restarted my Versa, turned heart rate tracking off and on, restarted again...and still it is tracking my heart rate in the cardio zone all day. This might be the end of my Fitbit relationship, and I will be returning to Costco. Good Luck!
