Why is my fitbit showing my outgoing text message instead of the incoming one?

@Anev, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not receiving incoming text messages.
Please restart your Versa as described in this help article. After this, try turning off the notifications and turn them back on. Finally, monitor your notifications and see if the issue gets fixed.

I have tried that, intial message comes in from the sender and then goes back to showing my outgoing message.

@Anev, thank you for getting back and trying the steps shared above.
I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your device before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, turn off the notifications again and turn them on.
