Just got back from a business meeting, traveling 1 hour roundtrip plus hour meeting. Versa tracked me as climbing 30 floors during this time, while driving and then walking on ground with no measurable change in altitude. Can anyone here think of a reason why this might be a problem for someone wanting a fitness tracker that actually provides reasonably accurate data?
UPDATE:
Also, during the middle of my return trip, versa recorded me reacing my step goal for day— mid-commute by automobile. Here are all the functionalities skewed: steps, stairs climbed, calories burned, active minutes and i would infer, heart rate.

Hi @Loucamille Yes it happens. The floor function uses an altimeter so is subject to miscounts because of going up hills while driving, windy conditions and changes in the barometric pressure (weather changes). Where I live this makes the floor function pretty meaningless, but in areas with less wind and more stable weather it can be useful.
Unfortunately you also get steps while driving dure to bumps which the tracker misinterprets as steps. You can log a driving activity afterwards in the app and this will remove the extra steps and floors gained while driving. I dont usually drive enough to make it a big problem, but if it annoys you, you can do this. There is also an app you can use called TravelBit, but I havent used it. Others have reported it works well.
DRIVING ACTIVITY
To log a driving activity go to your app, tap the exercise tile (running man), then the stopwatch icon in the top right corner. On the screen that comes up start to type in Driving and when the list drops down SELECT DRIVING from the list (very importand not to type in the whole word). Fill in the details and Log it.
