Versa records active minutes not recording exercise

My versa 2 used to always record my aerobic exercise automatically, but now sometimes it doesn't.  It always records and notes my active minutes.  Today it logged 56 consecutive active minutes while I was doing a aerobic workout but didn't log it as exercise.   It used to ALWAYS log these minutes of aerobics as exercise but not anymore.  Now it misses logging these active minutes as exercise about 20% of the time, the rest of the time it still works properly.

Any ideas of how to fix this?

Thanks!

Maybe not what you want to do, but if you will use the Exercise App on your wrist it will always be recorded as an exercise session for the full time.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

There appears to be a software problem with my Fitbit.

For the last few weeks, my fitbit, while tracking my HR well, is suddenly and inexplicably miscategorizing Aerobic Exercise as "Intense Activity."  It all worked fine, for the last six months, when I did an aerobic workout, it was categorized as Aerobic Exercise.  NOW it intermittently MIS-categorizes my aerobic workout as "Intense Activity" and no longer shows a tracing, no longer shows Max HR, and no longer shows average HR.

I've contact customer support twice with this problem and they have been of no help at all. 😞
