Versa redirecting me to calculator

I got my Versa yesterday and it worked perfectly. Today from the Dashboard the watch vibrates and only goes to the calculator no matter if I swipe or touch the watch. It won't go anywhere else but began the watch face and calculator.

I have rebooted the device, my phone, toggled Bluetooth, removed and re-added the watch. I'm getting very frustrated. I even uninstalled the calculator app thinking that might  help. It doesn't. Anyone else?

A warm welcome to the Community @Andrea222.

Thanks for troubleshooting this by yourself. Have you tried to setup your Versa as a new device? If you haven't, I recommend trying this by doing the following from your Fitbit app:

  1. From the Fitbit app dashboard, tap or click the Account icon.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

I hope this helps, let me know the outcome. Smiley Happy

Hi, that is not a calculator. That is a pin entry screen. By default the Versa is locked and you are forced to enter a 4 digit pin (that you must have setup at some point) to unlock the screen whenever you remove the Versa from your hand or after some time. I found it extremely annoying as well. Good news is you can disable this requirement. Go to the Fitbit app on your phone, go to "Account" and click on "Versa" in devices. Scroll down, and click on "Device Lock". Authenticate on your phone and select "Disable". This will get rid of this pesky requirement.

I am trying to get rid of the PIN requirement also. When I go down to Device Lock and try to disable it, I get the following:  "Screen Lock Required. System screen lock and/or fingerprint scan is required for Fitbit Pay. Press OK to set up system screen lock."

My options are OK - which makes me set up a PIN or Cancel which does nothing. I can't seem to get rid of the PIN. I do not have Fitbit Pay nor do I plan to.

How do I get rid of the PIN please?
