Versa reminders to move not working

Fitbit is not reminding me to move 10 min before the hour. It did the first couples of days now it's sporadic. Annoying. Had Fitbit less than a week. That's was the purpose of buying it, the reminders.

Have you checked if this option is on? If you haven't, I recommend doing the following from your Fitbit app:

1. On the Fitbit app dashboard, tap the Hourly Activity tile. This is the tile that shows the number of hours you completed 250 steps.
2. Tap the gear icon and adjust your reminders to move start and end times or the days you want to receive reminders.

If this option is on, I suggest restarting your Versa.

Let me know the outcome.

I am also having this issue.  Just got my first Fitbit (Versa) yesterday.  I get phone call and text message notifications, but not reminders to move, which I really want.  I restarted my Versa, so I will see, and let you know if restart solves it.

I restarted my Versa, and still am not getting reminder to move.  Any other ideas?  Thanks.

hi, on your dashboard of Fitbit on your device, tap the icon on the Versa watch. You will go to the page where you also can change the Clock faces, etc. Scroll down to "reminderto move". Press that and see if it enabled or not. If not enable it and set the start and end times, e.g. for instance start time 09:00 AM and 23:00 PM. After that restart you phone and it should be working.

The notification is set for 9am to 6 pm, but I have yet to receive the reminder at ten minutes before the hour.  I have turned off notification, sync, turn on notification, sync, restart.  No reminder.  Any other suggestions?  Thanks.

Hi, do not undertstand why it's not working. I use to have this to be disabled, but to answer this question as best as possible, I enabled it, even without restarting my device, and it reminds me everytime untill now. Try restarting your device by pressing the left button and the lower right button untill the Fitbit logo flashes and switches the device off. Leave you watch about ten minutes off and then restrart it again by pressing the left button.

Reminder to move is working!  I was reminded right on time at 9:50 am.  Sweet!  Yesterday I restarted my phone, in case that was needed after downloading the app.  Don't know if that's what did the trick or not, but at any rate, it's working now.  Thanks for the help.

Hi, I've tried updating the Fitbit app, restarting my phone, turning the Reminders to Move setting on and off (it's definitely on now), resetting my Fitbit watch, turning the Fitbit off and on and I'm still not getting reminders to move or phone notifications. Any suggestions? Thanks

I have the iPhone XS Max. My versa 2 was giving me reminder to move. About 3 weeks ago stopped and have tried every possible solution. Could it be the new Apple software version 12.10.7 and my phone needs updated? Just running out of options and the reminders to move was key for me purchasing this along with some other items. Thanks

I'm sorry, but I'm not sure. I have an Android phone, the Galaxy S9 plus. My suggestion is to try updating your phone first. If that doesn't work, start fresh. Do a factory reset on the Versa 2, delete Fitbit app from your iPhone, and reinstall everything again. Hope this helps. Stay safe!Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S9+.

Try holding in the button until you see Quick Settings and see if your FitBit is set to DO NOT DISTURB. Turning that off did the trick for me.

My Versa2 had Reminders To Move OFF. No matter how many times I tried to change it in the APP, Reminders To Move defaulted to Off. Fitbit Chat walked me through opening up the settings in a web browser and changing Reminders To Move to ON using the browser, instead of the app. That finally worked!!

Hello, I really like my Versa 2 and the reminder to move helped me a lot to move more as I am sitting basically the entire day without it.
I have been really commited to achieving the 250 steps per hour and when I am reminded to do so, I get up and finish my goal

However, I will not be reminded if there are few steps registered right before it was supposed to remind me.

What I want is to always get reminded. No matter if I am moving, jogging, going to the bath or sitting. It's really frustrating because it sais in settings "always get reminded 10 minutes before the hour finishes"

Check to see if do not disturb is turned on. Hold the button down until the Quick Settings shows up.Do not disturb is the top icon on the left.
