Versa reset and unlock with phone

For some reason, my Versa stopped syncing with my Google Pixel. I let it die, reset it, deleted it from my account, i've tried everything. I have gotten most of the way back (I think), but now it shows that i need to unlock with my phone, but i don't have a way to unlock it with my phone because it's not tied to my account. Is there a way to unlock with your phone despite it not being fully associated with your phone?

Can you post a screen shot? Usually it sends a 4 digit code that you have to input on your phone to complete the setup.

i realized after that i should have included this in the original post. my phone is indeed asking for the four digit code, and my versa vibrates on my wrist when it asks for said code, but the watch face only shows the "unlock with your phone" on the screen. the only things the watch face shows now are 1) the clock face i have selected in the past and 2) the "unlock with your phone" when i attempt to do anything else. 

my biggest concern is that i cannot unlock with my phone because i cannot retrieve the 4 digit code from the locked watch. i do not know how to unlock with my phone to even see the 4 digit code. 

does this make sense? haha sorry if this is confusing.

ugh, im both sad and happy that i'm not the only one with this issue. if you find out, please let me know. i'll do the same!

Same problem for me the last couple days. I know my 4 digit code but can't find where to enter it to unlock my watch

Do you also have the same problem that the watch is in locked mode and not able to connect it to the phone? I thought i was the only one! I text here of they answer me how to solve it
