Versa resets and vibrates by itself

I updated my Fitbit and app to 3.0....and ever since it constantly fly restarts and turns off and on. It randomly just vibrates for no reason. It no longer counts my steps or heart rate. I’ve turned it on and off, unpaired and re-paired it to my phone. Done all the steps the forums suggest.

At this point I have a large watch that sometimes works.

any ideas? Time to move on to a new watch?

@fittleybits8 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking your steps, heart rate and it turns off and on by itself.

By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums. In order to avoid providing the same information and assist you accordingly, I'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you have tried.

In the meantime, try a factory reset. To to so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy

MINE TOO! Anytime I try to start my exercise tracker from my watch it will start connecting to my phone and then automatically reboot itself.

@K8M33 I'm sorry for the late response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community. I'd like to help you with the issue that your Versa is experiencing since it reboots by itself.

Please let the battery to drain completely. After this, charge it for 2-3 hours. Finally, restart your watch manually as described in this help article and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes! Smiley Happy
