Today during my workout my versa restarted itself and I chatted with support about it and I am keeping an eye on it over the next week. However now as I am sitting at my desk, my versa just restarted itself again. Anyone else having this issue?

My Versa keeps restarting too. Only 2weeks old, has restarted over a dozen times.
I did a factory reset 2days ago (Took almost 12hours..?), but today (AGAIN) it restarted while I was running....
I am also using the SpaceX clock face... going to change the clock face and cross my fingers.

I have not had it reboot at all since changing the watch face several days ago. For me, this clearly indicates that the SpaceX watch face is the cause of the problem.

Yeah, I think so too. After switching out Space x to another watch face, I haven’t had any rebooting issues.

@Ashleyabd I was using the watch face "SpaceX" and it caused my Versa to continuously restart itself. I have since changed it to a Fitbit developed watch face and it has been fine. Because of this, I won't use any watch face except those developed by Fitbit. I am also leary of using any app except those developed by Fitbit. There is already too many issues with the Versa, I don't need anymore. 🙂

@SunsetRunner I was using a Fitbit developed watch face when I was having this issue, it was the layer one. But changing the watch face seems to have worked for some, I'm currently waiting on a replacement 😒

@Ashleyabd Oh wow! I was using "Layers" when I switched from "SpaceX" and it was fine. I have since switched to "Backdated". Neither one caused my Versa to restart.

I'm having this exact issue. However, it only seems to be when im doing things on the app? Its showing that it hasnt synched..yet when I first go on the app its got the correct data from my fitbit Versa. I've had the Versa less than 6hours and the restarting is already irritating me 😒

SpaceX is the face I was using too! It stopped automatically detecting my workouts and restarting. Trying a FitBit designed face...hoping that fixes my problem.

Update on my experiences: i have found that if you sync your Versa with a laptop instead it works ok. I now dont have the app on my phone but have it on my Windows 10 laptop. Since then my Versa has worked perfectly! Worked out and had no problem. I have changed the clock face to 'March Blossom' which isn't listed under 'by fitbit" and it is still working well. Would 100% recommend syncing with Windows 10 laptop if youre still having problems. I've had no restarts yet and its been over 24hrs now

Apologies another update. After 24hrs my Versa wouldnt sync with Windows 10 and wouldn't pair either. I then factory reset it (losing all of todays stats) and now i can't even connect it to anything. Given up with it. Its massively annoyed me after having constant problems for 72hrs that i will be returning it tomorrow.

Well, this appears to be a major problem with the Versa. I have posted on 2 other posts like this since mine started restarting itself a couple weeks ago. Just to be clear, it is not the watch face. At least not for me. I used a "off brand" face when I first got the watch and started having problems a week later. I erased and reinstalled everything and switched to "Stats" by Fitbit. A week later, the same thing started. Now I have done 4 uninstall/reboots and the second it is ready to use, I get restarts and can't get the watch to even open without running through the whole restart screen. Very frustrating and even more frustrating that there doesn't seem to be any acknowledgment of the problem. The only admin posts I have seen have been to do a factory reset, delete the app from the phone, reinstall, blah blah blah. Done it 4 or 5 times now in a product I've owned for only two weeks. I (would) love the product if it would just run right but this is a deal breaker!

I am seeing the same issue here. I will try a new watch face to see if that helps.

UPDATE- I finally received my new replacement Versa on Friday, May 25. It was working fine, until just yesterday it restarted itself again. It has only happened once and am keeping my fingers crossed I don't see it again. Fitbit needs to figure out a solution to this issue since it seems to be widespread!!

It's funny I am seeing this post as I am on hold with the frustrating Fitbit support who want me to take a video of the issue. My question to them was....how am I supposed to take a video of a device restarting if I'm not looking at my wrist at the time it is probably occurring as that is not what the device is meant for is to be constantly looked at??
Then the girl tells me I can return it but will be without a device until my current one gets fixed. Not sure what happened but Fitbit has always been wonderful on support but I am questioning them on future purchases at this point.

In the last week, my Versa has either rebooted or the exercise app crashed twice during my runs. I only noticed because my Versa vibrated after it "crashed" When I looked at it, it was back to my watch face. I had to return to the exercise app and start it again to continue tracking my run. It seems somewhat useless to have a fitbit Versa if it won't track my exercise/runs properly.
