Weather app has asked me to sync since last evening. Still not working after several sync-ings and a restart. Suggestions or still some bugs?

Mine wasn't working either.
On Android, go to the Settings on your phone and find the Apps section. Find the Fitbit app and clear the cache and the data. St as it the Fitbit app and log back in.
This fixed it for me

@Sirvim only Bluetooth is used for syncing. Wifi is used for downloading larger packages, like firmware updates, large apps like Fitbit Coach and large clockfaces like Fitbit Labs clockfaces.

@Sirvim I know. Fitbit is aware and looking into it. I guess it doesn't help that this issue does not happen across the board.

I just wrote to AccuWeather - in essence blaming them, and stating that
they should be working with Fitbit to resolve the issue.
@Sirvim I just recent got the issue with my weather not syncing on my versa. I hope they can get this resolved. I wrote to accuweather like 6+ months ago about the city being wrong in current location(when I'm at home) on the app for the versa but not on the Accuweather app on my phone and they have yet to hear back from the

Try to reset your phone, when it turns back on sync you Fitbit on the Fitbit app. Make sure that your Bluetooth is on and your internet is working for everything else you do on your phone. Sometimes the internet can be on, but the connection isn’t high enough for the Fitbit app to work. I hope this helps!

I tried and tried everything suggested to get the weather to sync to my watch face. Nothing worked.
Then I found a face called Illium Essentials by Kidaract that doesn't use accuweather. It has a link that takes you to a site (I had to make an account at this site) where you get a code. You copy and paste that code onto a spot located in the settings for the face. It says it might take two hours for the weather to sync, and it did. But I now have a weather icon!

I had the same problem. In order to attempt to save battery life I had changed Location Services in the Fitbit app on my iPhone from Always to While Using The App. Suddenly my weather app on my Fitbit Versa stopped working and kept telling me to sync. I switched the Location Services back to Always and the weather app started working again.
To switch Location Services on the iPhone, go to Settings-Fitbit-Location and choose Always.
I’m not sure about the privacy aspect of having Location Services always on but I wanted the weather app to work so I did it anyways.
I hope this helps.

My versa weather app kept telling me to resync to get weather info. I did that several times with no luck. Then I deleted the Fitbit app on my iPhone and tried again. Still same problem. Then I went into my iPhone setting for Fitbit and tried a few things. After I changed the location setting to “always”, the weather app worked again. I preferred to keep this setting on “when using app” but obviously some things don’t work on my versa unless it is “always”. So FYI.

I have tried everything suggested in forums and other help areas and the weather still does not work. Please fix this ASAP. It makes no sense that my GPS works for tracking exercise, but the weather app won't sync.

My location is set to always allow for Fitbit app. All settings in the weather app are set to allow run in background and all other options. Honestly don’t know what else to do.

I tried everything but this just worked for me. I have an Iphone. Go into your account on your Fitbit app. Select your device (mine is a Versa lite). Go to "Apps" - Select and then scroll down to "Weather". Select Weather . Then you should see "Settings" and "Permissions". When I first looked at it the permissions had a yellow triangle.. Select Permissions. I untoggled everything and then retoggled. (internet, Location, and Run in Background"). When I went back then the yellow triangle disappeared. Then I went back and did "Sync Now" and the weather popped up on my watch. . Finally after about two months the weather is workiing.
