Since the last firmware update my Versa won't hold a charge for more than 12 hours and now it won't charge at all. This is my replacement Versa, the first one died less than a month after I received it. I tried pushing and holding down the left and bottom right buttons, but that hasn't worked. Please advise.

Hi @Voltron Do you get a lot if notificatiOns? The last update added the feature of the screen turning on every time a notification is received. Not a problem for me as I dont get many notifications, but if you get a lot it will drain your battery rapidly.
I will flag your post for a moderators attention as not charging and not turning on that restarts dont fix, will need more assistance.

I have also faced the same issue. It never held a charge for more than 12 hours after the update. Now it does not charge or turn on.

@Voltron @Hemali @Lizf88 Sorry to hear that your Versas's battery is draining quickly. Let's start with the basics. Try cleaning the contacts using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves.
@NellyG thank you for letting me know. Will keep an eye on this thread.

I cleaned the contacts and it still won't turn on.

Is it likely that the update is causing the issue? How do I know if my Versa received the update? I have contacted customer support and did the battery test with them and they are telling me to send it back but I don’t want to do that if it’s not absolutely necessary...I am already on Versa # 2
