I've had my Versa since May 2018. For the last 3 days, I noticed my alarm didn't go off on the Versa, when I go to check the time I realize the watch is dead - I didn't pay attention to what was happening until yesterday. My battery does not last a full day. Yesterday I charged it when I got to work work for about 2hrs or a bit more because one of a posts I saw online that said to make sure you charge it fully. I also saw online that all-day sync could be the cause of the battery problem so I turned it off - It was never a problem before but I'll try it. I synced it at 1:46pm and the battery was already around 46%, by 6:00-6:15pm it was at 14%, by about 9:00-9:15pm I noticed it was already dead. I cleaned the gold contacts because I saw a different post online that talked about that. I even removed apps that don't seem to work for me like spotify, music and a few others. I didn't work out yesterday so I didn't have anything running on the watch. I don't understand why it only lasts less than a full day. It used to last about 3 days on a full charge. Please help!

@katdiaz2011 welcome to our Fitbit Community! Regarding the battery draining issue that your Versa is experiencing, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat.
We would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if the battery lasts longer.
Keep me posted! 😀

Yes - after not getting a response I decided to contact support directly. I thought there would be a quick fix / reset I could do. Unfortunately I have to purchase another versa because the battery is draining too fast and it's a year & 4 months old. It takes 2 hrs to charge and can barely last 5hrs.

I am having a very similar problem. When I called support they had me change my clock face and turn off all notifications and change the wake to manual and a million things. Of course now the battery is lasting days, but I didn't spend all this money on a fitbit for it to be only a watch and pedometer. I am about to try chat again, but this is unreasonable.

Not sure when you got yours but mine is just a year and 4 months old now - so the only option for me is to purchase a new one and they're offering a 25% discount. I am hesitant to do that if the battery is only going to last a year!! for that i'll just get something else.

I had the same issue with mine, it was about a year and half old and suddenly it just stopped holding a charge. After troubleshooting and a battery drain test the response was the same sorry we will give you a 25% discount on a new one but just for select models. Good luck!
