Versa's battery drains fast and won't read heart rate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Fitbit Versa no longer holds a charge for more than 12 hours and 2 days ago my HR would no longer read out. The green light no longer flashes and I have tried resetting my Fitbit as directed via all help forums and manuals. I have turned virtually every tracking or option off. My clock face is not the problem as I've had it on there for over 4 months without issues. I have only had this Fitbit since approximately June 2019. Not happy with the current issues as this Fitbit versa is not that old and they are expensive. Please advise on next appropriate action to fix this issue.

Hi JuanJoFitbit,

As previously mentioned I've done literally ALL of these things listed in both help articles. Nothing works or fixes the issues. Also, yesterday my steps wouldn't track either. I checked all the help forums and tried all the things before posting on this forum. Should I contact Fitbit customer service instead?

Thanks.

Are you still having issues with HR and Battery life?  What other steps did they suggest?  2/8/20 I noticed that my battery life was less than a full day and then 2/9/20 the heart rate was not as accurate as it had been.  This Versa is a replacement received last year this time.

Possibly they will send me another, but really a year per device is ridiculous.

Yes... today it just started tracking steps again, but still no HR... agreed with the only lasting a year issue... these things are too expensive for that.

Update, In an effort to get heart rate back I tried a factory reset and now it will not turn on.  I have tried holding the buttons longer or shorter and NOTHING!  I will be calling to get it replaced.
