Hi ,
I can't wear my fitbit versa when I'm working so I shut it down leave it in car and then restart it when finished work. This has worked fine for me - no issues - over the last number of months. Unfortunately since the last update when I try to restart versa the battery has drained over the day even when it has been shutdown. I have to wait until I get home before I can recharge. Has anyone else experienced this and is there solution to this problems.

@Dungarvan674, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community. I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the battery drains fast.
I'd like you to try the tips that are listed in this help article in order to improve the battery life of your watch. After this, monitor the battery's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.
Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi JuanJo ,
Thank you for your response, perhaps you misread my post.
The battery life on my fitbit is fine, it is when I power it down (when I'm not using it) the battery drains over a few hours. Therefore when I try to restart it I can't.
Thanks again for your reply.

@Dungarvan674, I'm sorry for the late response. I also apologize for my previous misunderstanding.
If you haven't done so, I'd like you to try a restart manually. To do so, please follow the steps listed in this help article. After this, charge your watch completely and see if it keeps the charge after you turn it back on.
Let me know how it goes.

If you have done the last firmware update, this is one of the major issues that this firmware update has caused.
Many users have reported the battery draining issue especially if the Versa has been turned off. Overall the battery usage has been greatly affected. Also, having to turn on the Versa with three buttons instead of one button and it taking longer to respond in turning on.
As of yet, there is no indication of Fitbit having a fix for this or any of the issues that this firmware has caused.

Hi ,
Thank you for your response, unfortunately that did not work I had to restart using the back button and the RHS lower button simultaneously. The battery was also drained.
I appreciate your help on this, any further suggestions for a fix?
