Hi,
2 days ago, I update my Versa watch to latest Firmware. After the update, even though I have switched off my watch, battery is draining out without any reason. This newer happened before.
Currently my firmware version in APP is showing as 32.70.714.

@SPB2296, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the battery is draining fast, even though when you switched it off.
Please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, charge your Versa for 2-3 hours. Finally, try the tips that are listed in this help page in order to improve the battery life of your watch.
Let me know if these steps fix the issue.

Hi
I did factory reset and again updated the software, and kept for charging for almost 3-4hrs.
But still facing the same problem, I was checking the charging status and it remains to 99%, even after keeping it charging for 3hrs.
Please suggest how to proceed.

Hi,
I have still not received any solution for the problem mentioned. My watch has become useless now.
Please check what's the problem with your latest firmware and provide us the updated firmware ASAP.

Hi,
Looks like Fitbit people are not going to provide any kind of solution to this problem of ours.
Another alternative which I am using is IAM not turning off the watch at all. In that way I can use watch ... But facing issues with regards to Notifications, not able to get WhatsApp Notifications after the update, previously I was getting them without any problem.

Sharana

@JuanJoFitbit . Thanks for the advice!
It doesnt seem to work that way atleast in my case.
Before the firmware version update 32.70.714, whenever i dont use fitbit versa, i used to turn off the power by going to settings>>about>>shutdown. I just had to press any button inorder to turn it on again.
It used to work with out any problems and saved battery charge when not in use.
With this new update, after i shutdown the watch, it wont restart anymore with a single button press. I am forced to press back button along with the bottom button on the right side and restart the watch.
Evwn after restarting, the battery level shows too low and the time shows incorrect.
I will have to re sync my watch to get it right.
Its really annoying and i am worried about it performance.
PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

Yesterday I charged my fitbit versa to 100% and I shut down at night. In the morning, I turn it on (with 3 buttons), the battery level drop down 50%.
How to solve this problem?

Dear Support
Some issues to look and resolve.
Problems after firmware update
Because of the firmware update issues - I did a factory reset - re-setup, but the issues still remain.
1. After power off - to power back on requires three buttons !!! Single Back or Left buttons does not power up watch work anymore
2. Time is wrong after power on - need to sync with Mobile App to get correct time
Battery Drain
3. Battery drain - when power off it drains even faster ??? Why ??? 100% - 47% in a day!
4. Battery life shortened considerably when power on - even with minimal clock face - I just use it as a watch ! Clock settings Dim + Auto + 10 Secs
5. World Time does not work any more! After doing a factory reset - I am unable to config or add any new cities
Resolution
1. Please allow us to downgrade to the previous version while Fitbit solves the outstanding issues first
2. Allow a small group of users to test your early firmware release (beta testers) before mass updates - can't you guys improve on your test processes?
I would highly recommend downgrading to the previous version first

My Versa 2 was working just fine charging every 5 - 6 days depending on use. The day of the update I went to bed with 50%, and when I woke up, my Vaersa 2 was DEAD! 50% usage while I sleep, and I have the setting turned on not to wake up between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am. Now I can only go a day and a half before charging again. I spent a lot of time today with Fitbit support, and the only thing they offered my was 35% off a new Fitbit product. So if everything was working just fine, and then Fitbit pushes out an untested update that several folks are having the same issue with, you would think Fitbit would correct the update, or at least allow the users to roll back to the previous known working software. Nope, just a 35% discount. If this issue isn't corrected, and I mean soon, I will NEVER purchase another Fitbit product again. I have had a Fitbit now for over 4 years.
