Why would the battery go from 53% to 0% in 3 hours? It has never drained that fast before.

I have the same problem.  I have had my Versa for about two years and over the past few days it has stopped holding a charge.  I haven't changed any settings and was charging about every two or three days.  Now I have to charge it everyday.  Yesterday morning I charged it to 100% and this morning it is down to 8%.  I think I will just go back to wearing my watch or move to a different company.

I have had my versa just over a year and charged it to 100% yesterday afternoon. It’s already down to 32%. I’m having to charge it at least once a day where it used to last 4-5 days. Wondering if it’s worth replacing or just wearing a less expensive tracker.

I have contacted fitbit support and they are going to have me run a test. I am to charge my Versa to 100% and then wear it normally until it is completely depleted. Then I contact them and they will look at the results. Not sure there is anything they can do but will see what they say.

I went through the test process and support confirmed my charge 3 was faulty but Fitbit is only offering a 25% discount on a new device.  Don’t waste your money on Fitbit products unless you want to rebuy them every other year.  My device is about 18 months old.  Horribly disappointed.  Time to shop Garmin or Apple Watch.

Not very good product support. I solved my problem by turning off the bluetooth on my iPad but sorry to hear your problem turned out to be an actual failure. Moving on from Fitbit is probably a good idea. Good Luck!

My Fiance has had her Versa for a little over a year now (just past warranty) and absolutely loved it! She used the product every single day tracking steps, work outs, and sleep. Her battery would last days between charges. She started noticing recently that when she would sleep the watch would die in the middle of the night, each and every night, and not keep a charge. After contacting Fitbit, they let us know that they can track the status of the battery and let us know if there is a problem. We were told that we should try: cleaning the contacts, using a Fitbit watch face, shutting all notification off, switching to "dim" setting etc) and ultimately they let us know there was an issue but we are past the warranty now. Reading other forums this seems to be a common issue. Really liked this product but now we need to charge it at least once every single day. We were offered a 25% discount on a new product but worry this may be a recurring product issue...

I am using fitbit versa smart watch for almost 15-16 months. It had started the same problem, battery drains in less than 12 hours. I have done trouble shooting as per customer care advise but nothing worked so far. I am unable to use it and there is no repairing centre to fix the battery issue and it out of warranty.

Its really waste of money for me. At least some level of hard ware support should be provided by Company. This device is not at all functional and not of use now as it needs charging for almost 2 hours and then it drains so fast that you can not even use as simple watch.I wish to reach senior management of the Company to understand what do they expect from customers.

I've got same issue, where battery dies within 36 hours. I think this has to do with some firmware change fitbit has shamelessly pushed that shortens battery life. They would not admit, but I am sure they know it. I had no issues with my versa, and now all of sudden battery is getting drained.

They did same thing with me and then said, too bad your warranty is up, so go buy a new one.

My Versa is about two years and over the past few days the charging changes.
Now I have to charge it everyday and the last past days it holds up for only 8 hours...this happend when I had the blaze after 2 year and now Versa...

Same - ever since the last firmware update my Versa will not hold charge. I used to charge it once a week, I charged it last night and by this morning it was down to 67%.

The Firmware version 71.6.19, which was last pushed on June 19th, is
draining the batteries. Not sure it was intentional or not, but it can
certainly help Fitbit force people to upgrade.

After less than 1 month whioe under warranty, after calling twice, and returning the device per fitbits return label i was turned down for a refund or reimbursement for me paying to ship the device back. This is not customer satisfaction. I won't get a full refund. I will not purchase another fitbit. Fitbit doesn't stand behind their products. 1 supervisor hung up on me too. So rude and poor customer service.

Fitbit quality bad .. compare to apple & garmin.

is time to change to  other brand . fitbit quality is worse.

After the most recent update my battery doesn't last a full 24 hours. I charged it yesterday, put it on around 8:30 last night and it's at 5% again. My Fitbits all seem to die shortly after the warranty period and an update. I may have to consider other products at this point.

same - I’ve only had mine about 2 months.  Was holding the charge for 4 days and now only one day.  Not very happy about this.

Having the same issue. My husband had my old Versa original and his started doing it a while back. Now mine is draining in less than a day. This is really disappointing. I've had the Zip, Flex, Versa and now the Versa 2. I think if this is the way it is going to go so you have to buy their new product, then I'm done with Fitbit. They used to be really good and honor the quality of their product, definitely not anymore. Fitbit should be ashamed of themselves.

I think that Fitbit throttles the battery and watches like Verizon did. When my first watch just stopped working, they sent a signal to it and it suddenly worked. Now my battery is needing charged every two days. I’m truly disappointed in them as a company.

Did it work. What was outcome. This is my 2nd battery within 1 yr and 2 months and it's doing it again went from 100% to 70% in less than 2hrs. No clue why this is happening again

Mine improved significantly when I turned off Bluetooth on my iPad. I assumed it was the constant communication (or attempted when I was away from the iPad) causing the problem.
