Versa's battery is draining fast

My daughter had just spent all of her birthday and pocket money on a new Fitbit versa. She got it 2 days ago and doesn’t hold charge longer than about 4 hours. We have reset the devise a couple of times, taken off watch faces not provided by Fitbit, shut down anything she doesn’t need and done everything else any site suggested it could be but it hasn’t made any difference. She is charging it from a USB plug not through a computer. She is pretty devastated. Any ideas? If we return for a replacement are all versa’s going to have the same battery issues?
