Versa's battery last 1 or 2 days

Well where do I start.  It's really bad the custmor service I have had.  My versa battery isn't lasting.  From one day to two . Days . All I get is charge your fitbit versa . Need charging .by email. I reported it straight away to fitbit custmor service .All I got was maybe u have down loaded to many apps even though I had only a running app running but still my battery had to be charged every other day . I got so many excuses over 2 weeks of calls . It was tranfered to another higher department and I got one email even I replied another 3 times no response from the department.  But be aware the battery life does not last more than 1 to 2 days if u use more than 2  fit bit apps . As i was advice what isn't suitable for any one going away or long runs .

Mine is exactly the same!  Lasts a day.  I stopped wearing it this weekend and just gave up.  I’m not sure where to start in complaining about it.  The thing with it is that I use 0 apps and don’t even record exercises.  I got it because I liked the display better than the Charge and I’d had my charge for 3 years and it was time for an upgrade.  I am regretting getting the Versa rather than a new Charge.  I guess I’ll start complaining to customer service and I’m glad to know I’m not alone.  If I was using it beyond simply wearing it I might understand the battery but all it does is record my basic data nothing more!

@jcarpenter Welcome! It's great to see you around! Sorry to hear about your Versa's battery draining quickly and for the delay in my reply. Try cleaning the contacts including using cotton with rubbing alcohol then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's usb port (try different ports) or use an UL listed usb wall adapter. After this restart your device and see how it behaves.

Keep me posted!

Thanks I’ve done all of these things.  It’s been an ongoing thing for a few months now and all the basic things that I would do with any device that is not operating properly has been done.  Which includes everything you mentioned and more.  It charges and then dies within the day or so.  I use no apps.  I record no workouts.  It records my basic info and then a few times a day I sync it.  I would understand the battery drain if I was using all the features but I don’t.  I simply purchased this replacement for my charge because I liked the display more not for the smart watch stuff.  I regret it!!  I would trade the smaller display for the inconvience of having to charge any day!  It’s obnoxious and not the product that was advertised

Same situation for our two fitbit versa's. In the beginning it did last up to 4 days. Now, about a year later, I am fortunate it lasts 24 hours...not sure what is going on as it used to work wonderfully.  Seeing the abundance of others that have had this challenge has got me a bit concerned...Thanks for any assistance in advance :).

I have a new Versa 2 and have the same issue, battery lasts no more than 2 days. I’m not using apps, contacts are fine, it charges fine but needs to be recharged way too soon. Do I have to get this refunded some how and how back to my charge 2? It’s a shame because otherwise I like it very much.

I'm having the same issue my battery only stays charged for about 2 days. I've not added any apps to it, the brightness is on Auto, not sure why it's losing charge so fast. When I first got it it would stay changed 3-4 days now its down to being charged every 2 days. I only charge it if it goes completely dead or if I'm home & its on 5-10% life. What can I do?

I am having the same issues. I got mine in December and it seems like right after I unsubscribed from Fitbit premium I started having issues. It won’t stay charged, the touchscreen doesn’t work and it randomly goes blank and I have to reset it constantly.

When my battery was exhibiting similar challenges, I contacted FitBit, and
after confirming the problem, they promptly sent me a new unit. I suggest
giving them a holler! Customer service was superb every step of the way!!!

Hope you get it solved :)).
