I’m having a lot of trouble keeping this thing charged. Up till about a week ago it would last 3-4 days on a single charge and three days ago the life of the Fitbit tanked. I’ve continued to try a different charger with different ports and no luck at all :/. I even did a factory reset on the watch and restarted the phone and repaired the Fitbit with it to make sure it wasn’t stuck syncing. Has anyone else had these problems.

I have followed this help article previously. The night before, I had turned off all notifications through my Fitbit, even turned off Bluetooth on my phone to unpair my Fitbit for the night, and turned the screen wake to manual only. Based off the time it stopped recording my heart rate previously last night I’d say it stayed charged, from 100%, roughly a total of ten hours. It charged on my Fitbit versus charger provided to me in the box my Fitbit came in. And that charging cradle was plugged into my laptop USB port.
This has become pretty frustrating at this point 😕

I am also having the same issue! I've never had issues with my Versa battery lasting 4-5 days and now all of a sudden, I'll charge it to 100%, and within a few hours I'm down in the 70% area. I don't know why this is happening. I didn't download anything on my Fitbit... I wasn't using it excessively or anything.

This is actually happening to me too since a few days ago. My Fitbit used to last 3-4 days at least, then starting Friday or so last week the battery just drains quickly (within a day).
I also noticed my calorie burn is higher too (with the same or similar activity as weeks past). So I wonder if it’s tracking my heart rate more often or something?

Btw here is something crazy - I have largely been sitting at my desk today but somehow my Fitbit thinks I have been active for 298 minutes and burned 2600+ calories. I wish this was true!!! I’d be so skinny 🙂
Unfortunately I think it’s a bug. 😞

This has been happening to me I’ve been having to charge every other day instead of every 4-5 days that it used to be

I too am having this issue and have tried all of the suggestions. Getting pretty annoying to not have it last even a full day.

Good luck! When mine did this same exact thing (about a day after the new firmware release), it completely drained the battery within less than 12 hours and then it never turned on again. It won't charge. It's just completely dead/broken. Fortunately, I've only had it since January, so they are sending me a replacement. Hopefully, yours will hang on until they push a better fix. It's been hard to be without a watch for over a week.

Having the same issue since the new update. Have left messages and called and nothing is getting done about it. How about they actually take the time to fix the issues instead of giving those of us within our year replacements. I'm so frustrated by it I even considered getting a different phone and Apple watch if it doesn't get fixed soon. Which makes me sad as I have been with Fitbit since 2017 and have bought all my family a Fitbit.

How are you contacting them to receive a new one? I have no way other than posting on here to contact them

I use the support number. It's 1-877-623-4997. They give you a case number and everything usually. Hope that helps since the dashboard doesn't really give u the phone number to call.

I also have the same problem (Wont stay charged for more than 4 hours !!!)... the timing seems to link it to the firmware upgrade but let's not get too carried away with that yet. From the moment I put my watch back on in the morning after a full charge, it dies by 10am. Pretty much useless at the moment.

Same here. New firmware is causing serious battery drain. Not lasting a full day now. Please fix!

Has anyone gotten an answer as to why our batteries are not holding a charge? I too have followed all of the suggestions and am still having trouble with the battery holding a charge. The only thing customer service offered was 20% off a new one. I have had similar issues with my last Fitbit so I did upgrade last time however since this is the 3rd Fitbit I have owned and 3rd one that has quit on me a year later I am not spending the money for another one. There are other options other than Fitbit and apple watches now so if I can't get a fix for the battery I am out.

Chances are it’s the chargers. A lot of them are being made really cheaply and need to be replaced every 3-6 months. Fitbit customer service is terrible and refuses to replace their chargers after a few attempts to replace them.
