Versa's clock face became blank

I just installed the latest update and now my watch face is blank!!! I’ve restarted my Versa and nothing. I can use the right buttons & scroll up to access some features. I’ve tried to reinstall the watch face I purchased, but can’t get the 5 digit code, even after refreshing (as directed). HELP!!!! Can I revert to the former OS? What do I do?

Hi @sarasmosteller, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

 

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa since the clock face became blank. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, please follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Set up your watch from scratch
  6. Finally, install the clock face again and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I actually ended up contacting the developer directly. They quickly and
efficiently resolved the issue. I was very impressed with their
customer service!!!

What did they do? Is it something I can replicate? I'm facing similar lack of watch face issues with my versa.

The watch face developer had me uninstall the face, then reinstall it with
the code. It worked great!

I had a similar problem, except I had not mage any updates. I just woke up and looked at my watch face and it was gone. Also nothing really worked on it. I tried multiple things, shutting it off unsuccessful, restarting my iPhone, but then I decided to reset it per your instructions above. It didn't quite follow the sequence but went blank for awhile and never vibrated, but all of a sudden after I have up the face and other things reappeared. Not sure how that worked but thought I'd share my experience.
