Versa's clock is 15-45 minutes behind

My clock, after the latest update, is slowing down. It becomes late from 15-45 mins. I rely on my versa to keep track of time and it has made me late 3x now. I had to sync it 2x a day to keep the time in sync with my phone.

@Tinaiiloilo, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the clock of your Fitbit Versa is slow.

Please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, sync your watch and see if the time gets corrected and your watch keeps it without any problem.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I’ve restarted and factory reset my versa over a dozen times and I am still waking up to it being 9-15 minutes slow every morning.

@Efelton13, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I appreciate the time spent trying to get the clock issue resolved before contacting our forums. I would like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues.

Try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face. After this, sync your watch, monitor it during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Let me know how it goes.

I'm having the same issues!  I actually removed my watch and connected it again and its still running about 15 min slow!

I have already switched my clock face back to a FitBit developed face and it still runs slow and loses time throughout the day.

Am I going to get any more help with this or should I just run this thing over with my car?

It is still slow. I tried to restart my fitbit it ended up being being off for 3 days. I could not turn it on I had to wait for it to drain the battery before I could turn it on back again. I already gave up it still needs to be sync at least 3x a say before the clocks in my phone and in fitbit to sync. But hey if you got new ways for me to try, I'll be glad to. Oh bdw already tried changing the clock face too. Still nada.

I've come to the conclusion that Fitbit doesn't care about making sure they have working products. I finally got mine to resync and update to the correct time after deleting and re installing MULTIPLE times!. It worked for about a week and now its already running a few minutes behind. Super frustrating when it just stops syncing out of no where!  Fitbit refuses to believe there could possibly be any issue with their products! They blame my phone but I don't understand why other people who have the phones they DO support still have similar issues with syncing and features!

I too have decided to give up.  I want a watch that actually tells me the correct time.  Resetting, syncing all kinds of crap just doesn’t work, tine to move on.

I ended up going through the process to get a replacement and so far no issues.

I know! Now there's a new problem. The battery got drained so I have not
used the watch since June 😅. They made me do a lot of stuff but still
battery dead. So now I'm thinking of just buying a new one to lessen my
stress over it.

I spent all evening resetting this piece of junk, factory reset from scratch. It’s already 6 min slow. Going to buy a watch that can tell time.

Hiya! I'm relieved to see others [unfrotunately] experiencing the same issues as me! I thought I was alone.

Versa will not sync, no matter what.. to laptop or phone, via bluetooth or wifi. Time has slowed down since my last successful sync by over an hour now. It refuses to sync, no matter how many times the watch, phone, and the app is rebooted. Even after a factory reset - no end in sight to this issue. Looking at swapping for Samsung. It's been a week of incorrect times, failure to sync. Given up now.
