Versa's display alternates its brightness by itself

Hi,

I'm having problems with my Versa 2.

I have reset the device, performed a factory reset, checked the brightness settings (set to max), checked sleep mode and do not disturb.

If I wake the device or if a notification is received the display is either dim or bright, then the opposite and so on

No matter what I set the display to (max), the display alternates between dim (to the point of not being able to see/read the display and max brightness.

How do I fix this? Any help is appreciated as this is making my device totally unusable.

@lwuk, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa's display brightness alternates from dim to bright or vice versa. I appreciate the time spent trying the troubleshooting steps you mentioned before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face. After this, monitor your Versa's behavior and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
