My Versa screen discolors and then darkens to where I am unable to view it. I can push the right button and it displays correct then immediately fades. I purchased my Versa on 3/25/19 so not even a year old!

@Aliceb321, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the display goes dark and fades.
Please restart your watch as described in this help article. After this, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party clock face and see if the issue gets fixed.

Do you have the brightness on your Fitbit set to "Auto"? If so then try setting it to one of the other values. Maybe the light sensor on your Fitbit is covered so it's always setting it to the dimmest setting.
