Versa's display shows the Fitbit logo only

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I purchased a Fitbit versa lite 10 days ago.

It was perfectly working. But yesterday as I tried using my fitbit smartwatch it shows data not synchronized. I tried sync the same by app but nothing happened. Later on I deleted the versa lite from my phone. After that I installed it again. Now I synced the phone and app but still the smartwatch displays only it icon.

Nothing else I shown.

Kindly help me.

Hi @SandraSV Try restarting your  Versa Lite several times and see if that fixes it. If it doesnt you will need to contact Support

@SandraSV, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Versa since the display only shows the icon. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I would like to follow up and would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after following the restart process that @NellyG suggested.

Looking forward to your response.

I tried doing the process mentioned by @NellyG  but still while restarting it shows data not cleared sync and try again.

I tried syncing through fitbit app and it works. But again the smartwatch shows only fitbit icon. The data gets updated in my app.

Please help.

@SandraSV, I apologize for the delayed response. However, I appreciate the time spent trying the restart process recommended by @NellyG.

I'd like you to try one more workaround, which has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive).
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons.
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. When the device successfully resets, you'll need to update the firmware. Please see the instructions in this help article.
  6. Finally, monitor your watch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
