Versa's firmware update won't finish

My fit bit is showing the start up screen saying please download fit bit app and my phone is saying it needs update which I’ve tried to do at least ten times and nothing . It  stops half way and asks me to update again it’s still saying download app to start on the watch screen and nothing else can anyone help ?

@Sharonjb, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the firmware update won't finish. I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try the troubleshooting steps that are listed in this help article. After this, run the firmware update again and see if it gets completed. Finally, set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.
