My versa heart rate monitor is showing a heart rate while sitting on the counter for 5 hours. It just randomly lights up with a heart rate. Is anyone know how to fix this problem?

There is a Settings option to turn off heart rate. You could use that when taking it off for an extended period. From main screen, scroll right (swipe left) until you get to 'Settings'; tap that and scroll down to 'Heart Rate'.
I expect that won't satisfy you and you want it to know it's not on your wrist and just stop heart rate. There's nothing you can do about that.
But I expect those heart rates are not actually being used. I always have a gap in heart rate chart when I take it off when showering.

I have the exact issue. It probably started a few weeks ago. I wonder of this causes any accuracy issues. It seems that my averages are slightly higher than before this issue. I wish I had a solution, misery usually likes company.
