Do not buy versa. I contacted Customer service 3 times. I tried everything they suggested multiple times. They then told me that this is a problem that they can not fix at this time, they will not refund my money or give me a new watch. They said a lot of watches are having this problem and they do not know how to fix it. I have only had it for 3 months and they said it is not covered under the warranty. I am going to call local stores and tell me what is going on and that they don’t fix the problem or refund. Do not buy this product it seems this is happening a lot. They will not do anything to fix it. I will not buy another product from them if they will not fix what is a problem with the product.

@WPBELL welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm sorry for the late response. I'm also sorry about the heart rate issue that your Versa experience. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you and I appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.
I'll be around if any question arises.

I just started having the same problems. All the sudden on Sunday my heart rate monitor started to go crazy, saying I'm sitting around with a HR of 130+ constantly. I burned over 5,000 calories yesterday during a movie marathon with my husband....doubtful. Today I've accomplished over 150 minutes of activity while sitting at work. I've turned off the HR and restarted my Versa, turned back on the HR....still higher HR than it should be.
Unfortunate to hear Fitbit isn't helping, as it looks like this is a common issue now.

@kchada thank you for joining us in this thread. Since your Versa is also experiencing high heart rate readings, I appreciate the time spent trying the restart process before contacting our forums.
Please try a factory reset. to do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, monitor your heart rate and see if the issue gets fixed.
Let me know how it goes! 😀

I had three days with the Versa functioning well and now it does not show a heart rate and has the wrong sleep data. I have rebooted and will go on and do yet another factory reset. Right now I have heart rate but I really think it is time to go buy the Garmin I have been looking at.

I'm having the same problem, it's saying as high as 183 when I'm sat or lying down. When I'm walking it goes to 120-145ish. This is in addition to my versa constantly losing time by around 7 hours a day. Fitbit need to sort this out as it cost a lot of money and it's now useless. I've tried resetting Fitbit, turning off Bluetooth, my phone, uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times etc all to no avail. It won't even pair with my phone anymore but will sync when charging.
