I noticed yesterday that the heart rate monitor on my Versa is not reading right at all. It had me at 169 and 144 just sitting still. I tried restarting it and doing a factory reset. The reset did absolutely nothing.

@SunsetRunner it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! By the way, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I appreciate the time spent trying the reset process before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try one more workaround that has been helpful for this type of issues. Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, make sure of the following details:
Keep me posted on the outcome!

Sorry it took me so long. I did a factory reset twice and absolutely nothing happened. It's positioned correctly and has the band it came with so that's not the issue. It's only 8 months old so I'm really disappointed.

Mine started doing it this morning, too. Just out of bed, it registered me at 169 bpm. I also had an android update push through so not sure if they are related or if the timing is just coincidental. I've had all kinds of syncing problems lately, too. It's been perfect until a couple of weeks ago - since, it's gone haywire. 😞 I also have my original band.

I also did the factory reset and and HR is sky high still. 150 bpm sitting at my desk at 218 active minutes and 2,700 cals burned since waking up six hours ago. Clearly none of the data is reliable with this HR issue.
