Versa's resting HR too high

Hi everyone I have a Fitbit versa and a few days ago it started to measure my resting heart rate between 130 and 180. Any suggestions on how to fix this. I turned it off and back on, rest it, and I also turned the heart rate tracker off on the Fitbit it self and still nothing. Can someone help please

@Ventrella it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since the heart rate readings are high. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Please sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. After this, make sure of the following details:

  • Your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
  • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.

If you’re doing an exercise such as high-intensity interval training, boxing, or other activities that cause your arm to move vigorously, try to relax your wrist and stay still for up to 10 seconds until your heart rate appears.

Keep me posted on the outcome! Smiley Happy
