Versa's resting heart rate not accurate

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The first 2 months I had my Fitbit Versa, my resting heart rate has been all over the place. Anywhere from 70 to 81.

but now, for the past 6 days, it hasn’t changed at all. It’s been at 75 for almost a week.

Is something wrong with my watch or app? Or is my heart rate actually just become consistent?

Hi, IMO the only way to test that is to restart your Versa several times and see if your resting HR stays consistent. Regards kuzibri.

@Samantha1033 welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it's not tracking consistent and accurate heart rate.

In order to perform the restart process that @SunsetRunner mentioned, please follow the steps listed in this help article. After this, make sure of the details that are listed in this help page:

  • Your device is positioned correctly on your wrist:
  • Tighten the band so that it doesn’t slip on your wrist. For more information, see How do I track my heart rate with my Fitbit device?
  • Heart-rate tracking may not work with certain accessory bands, especially if they’re loose fitting. For best results, use the wristband that came with your device.

After this, monitor your resting heart rate and see if the issue gets fixed.

Thank you for your help @SunsetRunner.

I'll be around if any question arises! 😀
