Hi guys. I need help. I did the software download on Saturday 23/05 and left my device on charge. This morning Monday 25/05, the device screen is blue blank. I tried restarting and holding all the buttons, nothing seems to work. I unpaired my device and Uninstalled the app still no help. This has been going on for hours now. I don't know what to do. I'm devastated. It was working perfectly fine on Saturday during my workout. I don't know what to do anymore.

Same here, just did the update, my screen is black and wont turn on! I've only had mine for 3 weeks

Fitbit IT support/customer care can you please come back with advise here and not the usual hold down the left button for 10 seconds because it is not helpful in any way. In fact it has made my situation worse as my devise is totally dead now.

We are on the android help board asking about a hardware issue without any mention of what type of tracker?
Have you tried a restart or shutdown?

Yes. At least 10 times I tried to restart. The device does even switch on at this point.
I have a Fitbit Versa 2.

Same! My went haywire Sunday. Came back on a time or two overnight and then totally crashed. Nothing on screen and cannot reboot.

Same issue since the update, second versa that dies without reason, bad product, im very disappointed...there seems to be bugs quite often with the fitbits...

Mine literally just did this! Only time I can see the proper screen is when it’s on charge. The moment I remove it (fully charged) it is unresponsive.

My screen went black yesterday and had a 90% charge. I put it in the charger and the time came back in, but was 6 hours off. I tried to sync and the app on my phone says “no device found”. I’m lost without it! Please help!

I have reached out to the Fitbit team on Twitter and on this community board,i have watched YouTube videos, nothing is helping. And because I unpaired my device in hopes of a solution, now it seems I don't have a Fitbit linked to email account. I have had my fitbit for 14 months and this is the first time this is happening. I don't see a solution in sight because no one can help. And this all came about after the software upgrade. I don't think I will be buying a fitbit ever again.

Same here. They make a new update and our watches go down then they tell us you are not on the warranty anymore but buy another one and we will give you 25% ...no way. Not putting one more cent into a product that brakes after an update the compagnie made.

Exactly I agree. This watch was pretty expensive for me. I live in south africa and I purchased it via Amazon and with the exchange rate it was alot of money. I thought I was doing the right thing by updating the software only for my watch to go completely dead. I am really upset. Definitely the last Fitbit I will ever buy.

If you bought it with a credit card, they often extand the warranty and even double it. Hope it works for you. If you kept the receipt , proof of purchase etc. I might try with mine too.

I’ve had my versa lite not even 24hrs and screen went black have tried everything and nothing is working cant even put in a new code as can’t see anything on the screen this happened after the update also-how long should we have to wait to get this fixed,wanting to take mine back and get another or go with something else ... frustrated

I have the same problem. My screen is black, the green light is on in the back but nothing on the front. I can't return my device and the outcome for me does not seem positive.

I have the same problem.
My fitbit versa 2 lite updated about 2 weeks ago and then last week the screen went black. It doesn't even come on when I charge it and it was fully charged when it stopped working.
I haven't heard back from Fitbit Support yet and I've seen so many people have the same problem. My fitbit is only 8 months old.
